About Me

Let me tell you a little about me, so you get to know me as a person, the lady behind the camera!

I’m Stacey, born and raised in California. I currently reside in Hollister, CA about 45 minutes south of the Bay Area.

I'm a mom to three busy girls and a wife to a hardworking man (who also helps as my second shooter for weddings!). When I'm not behind the camera you can catch me at a sporting event for one of my daughters, planning my next Disneyland trip, gardening in my succulent garden or watching..okay probably binging.. something on Netflix! (More than likely The Office!)

Photography has always been a passion of mine. At first it started as a hobby and now turned into a profession. I love freezing time and capturing memories with my family; so, I make sure that I capture the same for your session as well. My photography style is clean, classic, film like and colorful.

I truly love capturing the natural candid moments during any session, event or special moment. When I first started, I hated forcing my kids to smile. It would come out where there was no real emotion in the eyes and I would google, "How to pose kids naturally?" I came across a blog that talked about how she switched from posed photography to lifestyle. I have never heard of this until then. While reading her reasons on why she switched I kept on saying to myself, "YES!" "I totally relate to this!" She totally spoke to me and that is when I knew that I would convert to a lifestyle point of view for my work. Every session, there is a lot of walking, giggling, laughing, running, sometimes tears. I want to capture what life for my client was really like at this time in their life, so when they look back they can remember and re-live those memories. For example, my youngest is a real spit-fire; totally a unique and beats to her own drum total kid. When I beg for a smile, she looks like I am torturing her but when she's in the backyard dancing and singing "Let it Go" at the top of her lungs over and over. These are my favorite portraits. It tells my kids story at this stage of her life.

So, if you got to this point of my "About Me", you totally deserve a high five and a venti coffee! I really hope that you want to hire me as your photographer so we can get those memories captured for you to relive over and over and over again!

xoxo, Stacey
